Villa San Carlo

In 1958 Gianni Pavesi married and purchased the Tenuta Villa San Carlo, a specific lifestyle choice that allowed his six children to grow up and live enjoying the benefits of the natural environment and developing a solid bond with their land. The winemaking activity was structured starting from the 2009 harvest, from this year, in fact, Gianni, after a life as a successful entrepreneur, matured the desire to see his passion for the vineyard combined with the value of his land in a label named Villa San Carlo .

For winemaking, modern winemaking technologies are combined with respect for tradition. An old barn, which benefits from natural ventilation, is used to dry the grapes for Amarone. In the cellar, stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures and French oak barrels and tonneaux are preferred.

Today, daughters Antonia and Cristina carry on their father Gianni's project. Two women who have enriched their lives with different work experiences and who today have added creativity and a new all-female entrepreneurial vision to their love for their land and respect for the territorial identity of Villa San Carlo wines.
