The Valpolicella Superiore of Villa San Carlo is produced from a proprietary Cru, the Campo Bianco (name due to the very calcareous soil). By combining a very low yield/hectare with a soil that allows the maximum expression of the vines, an elegant, dynamic wine with a bright color is obtained.

Format: 75 cl bottle

Vinification: Very low yields (80q.li hectare) through bud selection in spring and plant thinning in August.
During the harvest, all the grapes are selected and harvested by hand for a 40/50 day drying process

Ageing: in barriques for 24 months, 30% new, then aging in the bottle for at least one year

In 1958 , Gianni Pavesi got married and bought the Villa San Carlo estate, a precise lifestyle choice that allowed his six children to grow up and live enjoying the benefits of the natural environment and developing a solid bond with their land. The wine business is structured starting from the 2009 harvest, from this vintage, in fact, Gianni, after a life as a successful entrepreneur, matures the will to see his passion for the vineyard combined with the value of his land in a label in the name of Villa San Carlo .
