Sandro Recioto della Valpolicella from the Boni Alessandro winery is produced in Negrar, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica. The grapes come from proprietary vineyards located on the hills between 190 and 210 meters above sea level

CHARACTERISTICS

Denomination: Classic Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG

Grapes: Corvina 30%, Corvinone 30%, Rondinella 30% Oseleta 10%

Region: Veneto (Italy)

Alcohol content: 12%

Format: 75 cl bottle

Vinification: The harvest usually takes place at the end of September. The grapes are carefully selected and placed in wooden trays for drying in the loft for about 140 days. Subsequently we proceed with the destemming and crushing of the grapes. The wine is drawn off with a high residual sugar and left in steel until the spontaneous arrest of the fermentation, to then move on to aging in amphora

Refinement: Refine in amphorae for a period of 12 months. It rests in the bottle for six months before being put on the market

Allergens: Contains sulphites

Color: Bright ruby red
Olfactory analysis: On the nose, hints of ripe fruit and spicy flavors prevail, morello cherries, violets and wild blackberries, enriched with punctuations of cloves and cinchona bark. Tertiary notes are perceived, such as licorice root and graphite, with hints of dust and tobacco
Taste Analysis: The mouth is vertical and savory, with the sweetness of the wine which is well balanced by more crunchy notes of black fruit, accompanied by bitter cocoa and walnut hull. To be tasted now to enjoy its exuberant energy, but to wait quietly 5/6 years to fully enjoy its maturity
How to serve it: Serving temperature 10°-12°C
How to taste it: Small goblet
Pairings: It expresses all its potential combined with blue or seasoned cheeses, with spoon desserts, dry pastries or with cream, chocolate

Producer: In 1960 , grandfather Boni Luigi founded the small winery in Negrar di Valpolicella, in the province of Verona. Subsequently he carried on the business until the mid-80s, when his son Alessandro continued the family tradition by giving his name to the label.

Passion and love for the land handed down to his daughter Cristina who today, with her husband Alberto, continues the art of her father Alessandro.

The numbered bottles , the manual labeling and bottling, certify the great care and attention that is placed in the production of these wines.
