White wines
White wine is mainly produced starting from white grape varieties but this is not always the case; in fact in white winemaking, a short contact time between the skins and the must (only a few hours) avoids the transfer of pigments from the grapes not even when starting from red berries.
This is why in these different production systems we find fresh and light white wines with floral hints, more intense wines with notes of white fruit, up to more full-bodied white wines.
Together with the vinification, the serving temperatures also change, ranging from 8° to 12°C, while combinations range from appetizers to first courses, from fish to white meat, not to mention enjoying an aperitif in company.
