Producer: The Villa Piccola farm is a small family-run business that was born in 1991 from the Rossi family's passion for viticulture. The company owns about 4 hectares of property located in two different and distinct areas: the Faedo hill and the Cembra valley.
Faedo is a territory that presents various facets, with altitudes ranging from 350 to 450 m asl) where varieties such as Lagrein, Gewürztraminer, Pinot nero and Chardonnay are exalted, up to higher areas (up to 650 m asl) where you can push the cultivation of the basic sparkling wine grapes and the Müller Thurgau. The Valle di Cembra area is instead more homogeneous, with soils of porphyritic matrix, which enhances the sapidity and freshness of the wines. In these areas, at about 600 m asl, mainly varieties such as Nosiola, Müller Thurgau and sparkling Chardonnay are grown. The annual production is around 20,000 bottles.
